Every year, as part of the Bird and Nature Festival, an international photo competition dedicated to wildbird is organized. A selection of the best photos will be presented at the Crotoy during the event, which will take place from 21 to 29 April 2018.

The competition is open to amateur and professional photographers from all over the world.

There are 5 categories open to photographers over 18 years:
· Bird in its environment
· Fashion design
· Bird in danger
· Water games
· Mini-series

A special category is open to young photographers aged 15 to 17 years, with only one theme: Wildbird.

You may submit a maximum of 10 photographs.

Entry fees for Photographers over 18 years: €2 per photo whereas for Young photographers aged 15 to 17 years, the entry to the competition is free.

  • Grand Prix to the overall winner awarded with an amount of €1,500
  • 1st Prize in each category awarded with an amount of €800
  • 1st Prize for the category «Young Photographers» rewarded by material endowments
  • Public Prize awarded to the picture which has totalized the more votes from the visitors of the exhibition, endowed by the Festival’s partners.

Every competitor can only be awarded for a single photograph except for the Public Prize and any Special Mentions awarded by the Jury.

The deadline date for submission will be Thursday 30th November 2017
